For a decade now, WCRE dedicated several weeks collecting food and grocery store gift cards, rallying support from friends, clients, and colleagues throughout the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region. More than forty local businesses joined forces contributing to this effort. Rachel Hammer, Executive Director of Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Southern New Jersey, expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing the pivotal role WCRE has played in their charitable initiatives over the past ten years. “WCRE has become an integral charitable partner in our efforts and this year, due to the pandemic and recent recession, our needs have increased exponentially. Partners like WCRE are crucial to us!” said Hammer, highlighting the invaluable support. “We thank the entire WCRE team for their generosity and leadership today and throughout the year.”

Beyond WCRE’s 10th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, WCRE’s Community Commitment program allocates a portion of transaction proceeds to various local charities and organizations. The establishment of The WCRE Foundation in 2016 has facilitated and managed community fundraising efforts, successfully raising approximately $680,000 to date. Currently, WCRE and The WCRE Foundation support Bancroft, Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, the American Cancer Society, I AM ALS, Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice and the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey. We also offer our clients the option to designate the charitable portion of their transaction to a charity of their choice. As WCRE commemorates its tenth year of giving back, the commitment to the community remains steadfast, epitomizing their enduring dedication to making a positive impact to the people in the surrounding communities that it serves.
